With this set, you walk through a conflict in the room. The four NVC steps are presented from three perspectives, allowing you to switch between clarifying your own experience, looking at the other person’s perspective and expressing yourself.
Three perspectives
- Self-empathy: What is going on inside me right now?
- Empathy: What might the other person need?
- Self-expression: How do I clearly say what matters to me?
The cards are color-coded. The set also includes the “mind cinema” with the inner and outer wolf—the critical and judgmental voices in a conflict.
Origin
The set builds on the original NVC Dance Floors by Bridget Belgrave and Gina Lawrie. We redesigned it for our work in coaching, training and self-clarification.
