Floor Anchors Light: The NVC Steps in a Compact Set

Five large cards are enough for a first process in the room. You move from the situation to feelings and needs and formulate a request at the end. The word collections on the cards help when a term is missing.

For seminars, we recommend one set per 2 to 3 participants. For 12 people, that means 4 to 6 sets.

The five cards

• Trigger: What happened?
• Pleasant feelings: from happy and grateful to enthusiastic and relaxed
• Unpleasant feelings: from annoyed and helpless to sad and lonely
• Needs: including connection, safety, harmony and authenticity
• Request: questions such as “Would you be willing to …?” or “Does that work for you?”

The set includes a PDF with brief exercise instructions and 20 fictional trigger statements.
