Which NVC floor anchor is right for you?

We work in our seminars with three different floor anchor sets. The Universal Floor Anchors for 8 euros are an affordable entry point and can be used freely. The Floor Anchor Light for 12 euros includes word collections and practice materials. For work from three perspectives, choose the large Floor Anchor Set for 39 euros. Here is what distinguishes the three sets:
Four steps, little distraction
The Universal Floor Anchors consist of four laminated A4 cards: observation, feeling, need, and request. Each card contains only the keyword. This gives you the sequence while leaving the content open. For individual coaching, groups, conflict clarification, and self-clarification, this is the most flexible option.
The Floor Anchor Light comes with five laminated A4 cards: trigger, pleasant feelings, unpleasant feelings, needs, and request. The feelings and needs cards contain collections of words. It also includes a PDF with brief practice instructions and 20 fictional trigger statements. The set is intended for beginners, individual coaching, and seminars. We calculate on the basis of one set for every 2 to 3 participants.
Three perspectives and 33 additional stations
The large Floor Anchor Set presents the four NVC steps from three perspectives: self-empathy, empathy, and self-expression. The cards are color-coded. The set also includes the “Head Cinema” with an inner and outer wolf, representing the critical voices in conflict. It costs 39 euros.
The A5 additional cards cost 30 euros and expand a basic set with 33 stations, including self-regulation, empathic guesses, and role work. They are made of 250 gsm art paper, durably laminated, and not intended to be stood on. The important point for ordering: the additional cards supplement A4 floor anchors or the NVC Dance Floor; they are not a basic set.
Wall instead of floor
The NVC Wall Anchor costs 35 euros and contains 26 A4 cards. Four main cards, 18 attribute cards, and four wolf cards build the NVC model on a facilitator’s wall. The cards are made of sturdy plastic paper, tear- and wipe-resistant, and designed for pins, magnets, or masking tape. We use the Wall Anchor as a teaching tool in seminars, not as self-study material for home.
The English floor anchors are the older English version of the NVC Dance Floor concept. There is a laminated and an unlaminated version for 10 to 25 euros. Both are discontinued models and available only while stocks last. If you are looking for the current German edition, the large A4 set is the more suitable product page.
Do not automatically buy the most extensive set. For self-clarification, four clear A4 cards may be enough. For coaching and training with several perspectives, the large set makes more sense. The instructions for working with floor anchors show you how to use them. The four NVC steps are explained in the blog article about the four steps of NVC.
